31 Jan/0730-1600 Push-up-a-thon...although it's not a Fitness Center event, we are hosting in the facility...Aerobics room #1 POC:  SrA Hayner, 366 OSS.  All proceeds benefit Operation Warm Heart.

**New 1100 HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) offered every Monday, Wednesday and Friday

**New 1100 Spin classes offered Tuesdays and Thursdays starting 4 February

6 February/1500 Abominable Snowman Competition (Powerlifting)...date changed due to Promotion Ceremony

6 February/1400-1700 Spin-a-thon...Come for 1 hour or all 3!  Participants that do all 3 get entered into a drawing to win a FREE Massage!...not to mention burn up to 1,800+ calories!

14 February/1500 Heart and Sole 5K (starts at the Golf Course)

MHAFB ON 2 HOUR DELAY

Gunfighters, Due to severe weather conditions, 2 hour delay reporting from normal work day. Mission essential personnel, contact your supervisor and report as directed. All Gunfighters drive safe and allow enough time for a slow and safe commute.

SCHOOL DELAY

January 29, 2014 - All schools, except Pine Elementary, will have a Late Start of 10:00 a.m., due to adverse weather.
  • Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten classes are cancelled for today. There will be NO Pre-Kindergarten or Kindergarten School today.
Buses will pick students up at their approximate time plus 2-hours (ex. if your regular bus pickup time is 7:30 a.m., your late start pickup time will be approximately 9:30 a.m.).

To reduce delays at the gate, please ensure all (see note below) occupants have valid credentials readily available.

NOTE: Occupants older than 16 years of age found to not have proper installation access credentials will be re-directed to the VCC or denied access.

Parenting Made Simple (PMS)


  A&FRC will be hosting this lunch and learn every Friday from 1130-1230. Our educators will be available to answer any and all parenting questions - No question is off limits...anything from a screaming toddler to a sulking teenager. Operation Homefront - Walmart Gift Cards

Attention Gunfighter Family,

Walmart is gracious enough to return the unused Gift Cards ($51 and $15) that were donated at Christmas to MHAFB.  You will have to sign for the Gift Card, and if you and your family got one at Christmas, you are not eligible to receive another one.

Please help spread the word out to those family that did not get the Gift Card at Christmas to come and get one.  The Gift Cards will be given out on first come first serve bases until it's gone.

UPCOMING ESC MEETING

We, at the ESC, would like to invite you to join us for our first meeting of the new year on January 7th, 2014.  Social starts at 6:15 p.m.; Business meeting will begin promptly at 6:30 p.m.  We will be going over a few business items, holding elections for the 2014 Executive Board, and our 366 Command Chief Alex del Valle will speak briefly on the topic of force reduction and attempt to address any concerns you may have.
 
Following our guest speaker we will share a healthy themed potluck. We ask that all attending please bring a healthy dish and recipe to share.
Babysitting will be available at the meeting. If needed, please respond to this email with the number of children requiring care.  We hope to see you there!
