The Exchange will remain open should the federal government shut down. Although the Exchange is part of the federal government, 97 percent of our budget comes from customer sales, less than 3 percent from tax dollars. Some transactions may be delayed, such as the purchase of firearms, which require background checks or other federal government actions.

The Exchange will do everything possible to continue to support the men and
women who serve America and their families.
